With Summer & our Sale in full swing, there’s no time like the present to embrace shorts. With our unsettled weather there’s no telling when it will be over so quit putting it off and get rid of your trousers. It’s the typical Brit-way to be humble & retiring when it comes to shorts- that’s why i’ve put together a guide to get over your fear & enjoy the summer regardless how pasty your legs are.
The easiest ocassion to wear shorts is the daytime. Think sun shining, out in the park with mates; everyone’s happy & just want a good time. Choose a light denim wash, of any length you wish with a patterned shirt or sweats with a casual t-shirt. Wear with trainers & white socks to be on trend, injecting a bit of streetwear-cool with headphones or a Snapback.

If the office is hotting up & Air Con non-existent, nothing’s better than the freedom of a short- of course depending on your job. If you can, the key is a matured, elegant look to win over the work crowd. A Chino being a no-brainer with a polished or suede loafer. Paired with a long sleeve shirt shows your not taking the micky, add in extras like a watch and slick hair do & you’ll be the envy of your floor.
Finally for hot evening do’s after a day in the sun the key is to add a night-ime twist. Go for darker hues with smarter trainers and a decent jacket to really show you know what you’re doing. Remember to touch up your hair or facial fuzz so you won’t look like you’ve been bumming about all day; but a sharp, evening-do-appropriate male.
