Summer maybe over folks but the Autumn/Winter catwalks have plenty to offer for the new season. Dapper Street HQ has been buussssy with great new arrivals for online &  in-store. As the evenings turn cooler and mornings darker, we’ve got loads to tempt you including staff picks: Eleven Paris and Farah Vintage.

Saint Lauren Paris AW14

This season traditional menswear pieces are updated with modern finishes and a dash of wit to make us cheery as we layer up. Classics are lifted by checked patterns, polka dots and florals to keep them interesting as well as a pop of colour seen on favourites Anerkjendt , Merc and Penguin. The charming gent is the key player in terms of inspiration, with luxe details like pocket squares and silky linings settting the dapper tone. While we see flickers of 90’s grunge still around ala Cheap Monday in the knitwear department, finishes are neat with contrasting lapels, pockets and sleeves. Key colours are burgundy, teal and deep blue alongside warm jewel tones giving an expensive; ostentatious look.

From top left: Grava Polo, Original Penguin £57.99, Evan knit, Cheap Monday £59.99, Sutti knit, Anerkjendt £48, Bo Brogue WeSc £130, Albin shirt, Merc £55, Swade jumper, Farah Vintage, £75,  One Abel Blazer, Selected £110, Watson Shirt, Original Penguin £62.99, Suede Salt Boot, Jack & Jones £90.

Whilst the coat; whether a winter trench or classic blazer is the key item, footwear is close behind with styles to compliment all. The decorative brogue  adds to the luxe feel, in soft leathers and suede. Or if you fancy giving a bit of edge to your look, a tough boot always triumphs to fight the cold.  Still not convinced? Here’s some Dapper inspiration for you!
